How does the 10-Day Free Trial work?

We offer teachers a 10-Day Free Trial that provides full access to the Lesson Planet site and resources.

To sign up for a free trial, click the green “Try It Free” button at the top of the homepage.

To start your free trial, sign up using your credit card. You may cancel at any time during the 10-day period and your form of payment will not be charged. 

If you wish to continue using Lesson Planet and do not cancel during the 10-day period, we will charge your card for a one-year subscription following the 10-day period.

How much does a Lesson Planet membership cost?

Lesson Planet memberships start at $4 per month and are invoiced annually, beginning one day after your 10-Day Free Trial concludes. You may cancel at any time during the 10-day period.

I want other teachers at my school to have access to Lesson Planet. Does Lesson Planet offer a school or district version?

Yes, we do offer a version of Lesson Planet for schools and districts, called “Learning Explorer.”To find out more, contact our Member Success team at sales@LearningExplorer.com  or (888) 909-9035 (M-F 8:00am-5:00pm Pacific Time).

When will my membership renew?

Your membership will renew annually. We will send you an email reminder 30 days in advance.

How do I cancel my 10-Day Free Trial or my Annual Membership renewal?

1. Log into Lesson Planet, hover on your name in the upper right, and select “My Account.” 

2. Click “Manage Membership” under Account Options (This step is different with PayPal customers; see Note below)

3. Click “More Account Options” at the bottom of the page. 

4. Click the link that reads “Special offers and cancellations” below the “Change Plans” button. After canceling your membership, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that it has been canceled.

Note: If you paid with PayPal, you will need to click on the "Payment Details" button located in the middle of the "My Account" page and click on "Manage Membership" from there. Click the link that reads “Special offers and cancellations” below “Your current membership: (Membership Status)."

What if I forget to cancel my 10-Day Free Trial or my annual membership renewal?

Lesson Planet offers a 45-Day Money Back Guarantee. If for any reason you choose to end your membership with Lesson Planet, you may contact our Member Success team at support@LessonPlanet.com or call us at (888) 909-9035 to request a refund within 45 days of your credit card being billed.

How do I download and print a receipt for my Annual Renewal payment?

To download a receipt for the Annual Renewal of your Lesson Planet Membership, sign in to your account, hover your cursor over your name at the top right, and click on "My Account." In the middle of the page, you will see a button titled "Payment Details" to click on and that will redirect you to a page where you will be provided with a link titled "Print Receipt" to the right under "Need a Receipt?" 

Note: If you paid with PayPal, you can find the receipt of your membership Annual Renewal when you sign in to your PayPal account.
