I am having trouble logging in. What should I do if I can't remember my username or password?

If you are having trouble logging in, it is likely that the email and/or password you entered does not match the login information in our system.

If you cannot remember your password, click here. Enter the email address associated with your Lesson Planet account. We'll send you an email with a link to reset your password.

Often, teachers sign up for Lesson Planet using work emails that are no longer active or are seldom used (i.e. they change schools or districts, their emails change for other reasons, etc.). If you can't log in with your current email, try entering emails that were in use at the time you signed up for your membership. If you are still having difficulty logging in, please contact our Member Success team at support@LessonPlanet.com or call us at (888) 909-9035 (M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm PT).

Note:right-hand It is important to keep your account information (current email, credit card info, etc.) up-to-date. To update or change your account info, go to "My Account" by hovering over your name or email that appears in the top right-hand corner. From your Membership page, you can manage all aspects of your Lesson Planet Membership (PayPal customers do not have the option to upgrade their membership and the "Manage Membership" option is under the "Payment Details" button).

Why is it telling me that "This email has already been taken?"

If you are clicking on the "Try it Free" option and it gives you this message it means that you have already registered your email to the site. If that is the case, you will have to click on the "Sign-in" option at the top right-hand corner of the homepage and enter your username/email and password. It is still giving you this message, you will need to click on the "I forgot password" link that is listed in the Sign-in box.

I signed in to my account and it says I do not have access. Where can I find the status of my membership?

An indicator that you are signed in to your active membership account is that your name appears in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. If you do not see your name, hover over the email that appears at the top right-hand corner and click on “My Account” from the drop-down. In the middle of the page, it will say "Plan," which if you have a membership it will say “Pro,” “Prime,” or “Starter.”
