Navigating the Toolbar

Overview

The navigation bar is with you wherever you go on Lesson Planet. This section provides details on how to navigate the toolbar and offers detailed descriptions for each feature under the Discover menu, as well as the sections under About and your name/email.

Exploring the Toolbar

1. AI Teacher Tools: These tools will make it easy for you to generate instructions and ideas for instruction by simply typing in a topic and choosing a grade.
2. Discover: Here is where you can get to a search page or a page with some helpful content. 
   • Discover Resources: A search page where you can use filtering tools and put in a keyword to find resources
   • Browse Resource Directory: A search page to find resources based on a topic
   • Curriculum calendar: Where you can find resources associated with a specific date/event
   • Curriculum Manager (My Content): Any resources you have favorited or put in a lesson collection can be found here, which can also be accessed by clicking on My Content from the toolbar.
3. Help: Where can you access help articles, our testimonials, and get in contact information. 
   • Help Center & FAQ: How-to articles and answers to frequently asked questions about the site.
   • Testimonials: Other customers' personal testimonials on how Lesson Planet helps them in the classroom.
   • Contact Us: Where you can submit a help request and where you can find our email and phone number to contact us.
4. Your Name or Email: 

• My Account: Where you can personalize your membership profile, update your email or password, update your credit card information, and manage your membership.
• My Member Profile: Where you can provide details on what you grade and subject you teach to personalize your account.
• My Content: This is where all your favorited, uploaded, and saved Collections are stored and accessed.
• Search History: If you can't remember where you found a specific resource, here is where you can got to see what you have searched before on the site.
